Though I am an ardent food lover, pizza and pasta are two dishes which have never attracted me; somehow I did not even feel the urge to taste it, even for once. I thought that my taste buds were not meant for Italian cuisine, until I was compelled to try pasta and pizza for the first time. It was one of my best friend’s birthdays and she had ordered for Italian cuisine – chicken pizza along with pasta. It was really late when we sat to have dinner and it was then I realized that she had ordered Italian food. I could not refuse as there was not enough time to order for any other cuisine. So, reluctantly, I had to taste Italian cuisine for the first time.
I will remember the first bite of chicken pizza. My friend was wandering whether I would like it or not, and I was sure that the taste would not be palatable. But, to my utter astonishment, I found the Italian food really tasty. I liked it so much that I took almost half of one chicken pizza along with servings of delicious pasta. Of all the pizzas, I like chicken pizza the most and it is one of my favorite dishes. I feel a pinch of oregano enhances the taste of any pizza.
